BERLIN (Reuters) - Manufacturers that are filed with the biggest European consumer electronics show their green credentials in vain to the Visitors more interested in bigger screens and brighter.
The participants at the IFA in Berlin, including Philips, Sharp and Fujitsu-Siemens tried to entice consumers with lower energy consumption, production methods that respect the environment and recycling.
Philips, maker of consumer electronic products in Europe, uses a green logo on their products more efficient energy use.
At IFA, the company said he would make public their energy management objectives in the coming weeks.
Sharp, the world's largest maker of solar panels, said its new LCD TVs offer an environmental outcome "unprecedented."
Fujitsu-Siemens has launched its first green personal computers for consumers, the Scaleo PC Green, which boasts energy efficiency, extremely quiet operation and halogen-free motherboard, which goes on sale this fall.
The company cited a Greenpeace study that puts environmental concerns in the third place of the priority list of buyers, after the price and brand.
But most visitors who spoke to Reuters at the show seemed uninterested or even confused about the importance of ecological concerns were at their options.
Richard Lee, an electrical engineer for 35 years, shrugged when asked if he preferred organic products. "I prefer Japanese products," he said.
Plasma has suffered in its battle with rival technology liquid crystal display (LCD) that uses more energy, and major manufacturers of plasma and LCD TVs told Reuters he hoped to reduce the power consumption of its models by about a 20 or 25 percent year.
But the size of television screens today is to find the devices consume three to five times more energy than smaller, older models, but more efficient.

Cost me a lot, I have almost no time for fun and do other things and I sleep well enough, but you see what I accomplished. The father asks: "And your friend Mariana, how you been? The daughter responded very safe of herself: So bad, Mariana has zero four average. It happens all the time in malls, or go from party to party, not study almost anything and often did not even attend classes. Would not surprise me that we repeated the semester. The father looked into her eyes, replied: So looking to the Dean of your college or University Director himself defending both socialism is more ... look for someone you consider that can help you and ask you to wire 8 of the 20 points Mariana yours, so both have a 12, and can pass both the semester. I think this would be a good distribution of skills and democratic socialist-style! The girl really angry shouted: Why would I do that?! I had to work very hard to get my grade point average and I've even deprived of many pleasures, while Mariana is limited to doing nothing, not to study and find the easy side of life, hoping that everything will fall from sky. THINK YOU CAN GIVE MY JOB TO ANOTHER PERSON! Her father hugged her tenderly, with tears in his eyes and said: Daughter: WELCOME TO THE OPPOSITION! "

It is anticipated that the grant Infonavit 435 000 credits, 50 percent of the total of such funding, the Fovissste, 70 000, 8 percent; Federal Mortgage Society, 115 000, 13 percent; Fonhapo 140 000 , 16 per cent and banking, sofoles, state housing agencies and other institutions 110 000, corresponding to 13 percent of the credits.
The total amount of credits set for delivery this year is 870 thousand, but is considering a reduction of 120 thousand financing to avoid duplication in the case of the mortgage involving two or more institutions as with Infonavit Support, Support Fovissste and cofinancing.
